Lisa Greaney understands this – it is key to her ethos and outlook. During the very early stages of her career, she recognised a huge gap between restoring form/function and restoring ‘normality’ in both children and adults. Techniques have improved vastly during this time however, beauty is still frequently overlooked in the quest to remove disease. Lisa Greaney’s goal is to achieve both – no compromise on disease elimination but not forgetting that appearance is also paramount to personal wellbeing.
Lisa Greaney is qualified in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, having gained degrees in both dentistry (University of Bristol) and medicine (Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’ Schools of Medicine and Dentistry). She won the British Dental Association Medal ‘For Clinical and Practical Excellence’ and was awarded Honours by the University of Bristol at the completion of her dental degree. She is registered with the General Dental Council and the General Medical Council and is on the specialist list for Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Her training has afforded her membership of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the European Association of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons.
Lisa first became interested in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at a young age, when allocated work experience in a cleft centre whilst at school. Having achieved both degrees and completed her basic surgical training, she successfully achieved one of four, nationally sought-after London/KSS-based higher surgical training posts in the renowned East Grinstead, Queen Victoria Hospital and Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford.
She is now a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon specialising in skin surgery, reconstructive facial skin surgery and facial deformity at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Chelsea Children’s Hospital. She treats babies, children and adults and is a core member of the Craniofacial Team. Her regular work includes surgical treatment of skin lesions including cancer (surgical dermatology), oral surgery (including complex tooth extraction/impacted teeth/buried roots), facial deformity (orthognathic surgery/double or single jaw surgery/chin surgery) and facial trauma. She is also a core member of the North West London Specialist Skin Multidisciplinary Team and Chelsea Craniofacial Multidisciplinary Team. Lisa has private practices in Chelsea, Marylebone and Wimbledon and divides her time between these, her NHS commitments and her young family.
Lisa also has a passion for teaching and is involved with this at all levels – from prospective medical students through to consultant level teaching both within her own field and that of advanced trauma. She is responsible for the school work experience programme at Chelsea and Westminster and mentors junior doctors throughout their training up to consultant level. She is an instructor for Advanced Trauma Life Support, a worldwide trauma course and is a member of the team who train the instructors to teach these courses. She is also one of two teachers providing an annual hands-on course for dentists to improve their tooth extraction and oral surgery skills. Lastly, Lisa is one of three specialists who routinely provide specialist oral and maxillofacial services to international professionals at Twickenham Rugby Stadium.
In her spare time, Lisa likes to play the violin and harp, and keeps fit by running and cycling. She spends as much of her time possible with her two young children who also do their best to keep her active!
When not busy at work, Lisa is dedicated to her young family.
Lisa Greaney treats both children and adults. Primarily these are treatments for face & neck skin lesions, dental extractions (oral surgery) and jaw surgery. Please contact us should you wish to discuss any other facial surgery/treatments including wrinkle reduction, fillers and scar management.
Consultations, treatments and aftercare for children is carried out in an environment dedicated to the care of young people and with specialist paediatric anaesthetists and nurses.

Initial Consultation
Lisa Greaney will see you to discuss all aspects of your treatment. Your symptoms and other medical health will be explored in order to form the most appropriate treatment plans for you. A full breakdown of costs will be provided in writing following this consultation for all patients. Patients using medical insurance will also be provided with the necessary procedure codes in writing.
A Pre-assessment (if required)
Should you need general anaesthetic for your procedure, the relevant hospital and anaesthetist will wish to discuss your medical health in order to provide safe care for you during your admission.
Treatment
All details of your procedure will have been discussed beforehand.
Medical treatment can be an anxious time, which Lisa Greaney recognises. However, the procedure is not the end: Miss Greaney and her team will see you and provide your aftercare until you are fully recovered back to health.
Full treatment costs will be provided in writing following the initial consultation.
